Ours was one of our best. My parents got here on Christmas Eve and got here after the kids were in bed. They were present number one. And Charlie, our new puppy, was present number two.

Christmas
Now that Christmas is over I am still in the Spirit. I've been reading Emily Freeman's "A Christ Centered Christmas" today and I can't wait for November. She goes through each of the people in the nativity and gives her insight as well as scriptural insight on their purpose and meaning. She has wonderful traditions associated with each figure. I highly recommend you read this book if you felt like your Christmas just past could have used a little refocus.

What a great Christmas! Those are two of the best presents kids can get - - grandparents for a visit and a puppy!
I have a soft spot in my heart for dogs named Charlie. Mine "followed" me home from the playground when I was nine. I hope your kids gain as many happy memories with your new puppy as I gained with mine!
