Let The Games Begin!

We had our first soccer games today. I wasn't able to be there because Jess is playing volleyball and guess who her coach is!?! ME! We had fun! I'll take the camera with me next week and get some of her playing.

This is a video of Jacob as goalie-he did a great job! (His team is red and he's in the green goalie shirt.)

This was another great stop by Jacob! The ball hit him in the face and he caught it anyway. I think he was proud of himself! :)

This video is of a great throw-in by Jared! He did so good! He had fun the first half of the game, but by the second half he was ready to go home. It was pretty hot in the sun and he'd been there since 9:00 and his game didn't even start until 11:00.

Hurricane Ike

The street in front of our house flooded. Actually our whole neighborhood flooded and in the back of the neighborhood the guy said it was knee deep on him. The kids had fun playing in it until they heard the fireants will ball up to protect the queen and you can get attacked in one second by the whole colony.

Here's a couple of pictures that I took of the kids around Mother's Day. I'm a proud mom! I think Jessica and Justin have such similar faces in this picture!










I love how Justin is waving in this one! All the kids were so sweet for me! And so patient! It wasn't easy to get them all smiling and looking at the same time, but anyone with lots of kids knows that!
